Alison Holdam

"I completed my veterinary training at Edinburgh University and then returned to North Wales, where I was born and brought up. I worked in various roles, including large and small animal work, charitable work overseas and government veterinary work. I have been at Cater Vets since 2004. 

I have a keen interest in the management of chronic pain, geriatric medicine as well as palliative and end of life care. I utilise a holistic treatment approach, to which end I have trained in veterinary acupuncture. I am committed to providing the same level of care to all animals as I would want for my own.
 
Outside of work my time is dedicated to my three children, who are all great animal lovers, and our three dogs. We enjoy spending time in the countryside, hiking, camping and wild swimming."
