Since qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in the early 1980s I have enjoyed working within the PDSA,RSPCA and various private veterinary practices, across Kent, the Midlands and NorthWales. I have a genuine interest in developing the next generation of Veterinary Nurses, and have been actively involved in work based training,as well as teaching Animal Care & Veterinary Nursing at Llandrillo College for a number of years.
I have an interest in orthopaedics and wound management & some of my career highlights include voluntary work in the Greek Islands and also taking a patient (“Toto” the tortoise ) to see Noel Fitzpatrick (TV “ Supervet”) where we ended up featuring in one of the episodes.
After 3 years as Head Veterinary Nurse at Cater Vets, I am looking forward to my new role as Clinical Veterinary Nurse and meeting you and your pets.
